    Two-day instructor-led training program available upon completion of the E-Learn WBT 1000 & 2000 Product Families Maintenance Technician Training Path. Covered topics provide reinforcement and practical application of WBT modules and focus on transmission diagnostics. Upon successful completion attendees receive TCM Reprogramming Certification which can be provided to Noregon for Allison DOC™ Reprogramming activation.

    Combined 1000, 2000, 3000 & 4000 Product Families Maintenance Technician Training

    This multi-day Instructor-Led Training class is for technicians who have completed ALL web modules in the 1000/2000 Maintenance, 3000 Maintenance, and 4000 Maintenance training paths. This ILT verifies technician understanding of and builds on the content covered in the web modules. The class includes hands-on activities to enable a thorough understanding of the products and for instructor validation of technician capabilities.

    Upon completion, attendees receive credentials for enabling the Reprogramming feature in DOC as well as credit for completion of these training paths:

    • 1000/2000 Maintenance Technician
    • 3000 Maintenance Technician
    • 4000 Maintenance Technician
  • General Service

    Basic Electrical

    This course will provide explanations what voltage, amps, and resistance are and how they work together in a circuit. Ohm’s law and why it is needed in troubleshooting a circuit will be covered as will the correct usage of a volt-ohm meter. The class will also cover the difference between wiring schematics and wiring diagrams. Explain the differences of parallel, series, and series parallel circuits. How to safely troubleshooting batteries, starters, and alternators will be included. The role of relays, and switches will also be covered. How resistors and diodes operate will be demonstrated. Hands-on learning will include working with the volt ohm meter to test various electrical components. This course will provide explanations of what multiplexing is and why it is used. The participants will be introduced to splicing wires for repair and the correct way to crimp wire terminal to existing wiring harnesses.

    Basic Mobile Air Conditioning & MACS

    Course Pre-Requisites & Requirements:
    Basic knowledge of where air conditioning components are located on a vehicle and at least 1 month of mechanical and electrical experience.

    Participants must bring and wear their safety glasses, steel toed boots, and shop uniforms.

    Course Description:
    This class will provide a basic understanding of the parts in a mobile air conditioning system and how they work together to make the cab cool. How to troubleshoot and repair the mobile air conditioning system will also be covered.

    Hands-on learning will include safely recovering refrigerant, evacuating, recharging, troubleshooting, and repairing a mobile air conditioning system.

    Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) & Diesel After-treatment

    Course Pre-Requisites & Requirements:
    Basic knowledge of how an engine operates and/or mechanical experience. Participants must bring and wear their safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and shop uniforms.

    Course Description:
    This class will cover the purpose of having an after treatment system on a diesel engine. 

    The following items will be discussed:

    • Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) 
    • Diesel Exhaust Filter
    • Exhaust Catalyst 
    • Exhaust Fuel Doser 
    • Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)
    • DEF doser
