Continuous Gaseous Generators

Gaseous generators can operate on natural gas, biogas, propane, or other gas types. Slightly less than half of all generators sold in the United States are gaseous systems. They are cost-effective, efficient, and produce lower emissions than other types of standby power generator systems. Due to the widespread availability of natural gas, most do not require fuel storage. Further, because natural gas is less expensive, they are less expensive to operate.

To that end, the following are some general safety tips we strongly recommend all of our customers adhere to when taking possession of heavy equipment rentals.

Inspect the Equipment
Before accepting a piece of equipment, always inspect the machine for damaged components, missing components, leaks, etc. If something is missing or seems amiss, don’t accept the machine until the concern is thoroughly investigated and, if necessary, corrected.
Dress Appropriately
Make sure that every employee is wearing high visibility clothing, as well as ear and eye protection. Ensuring all employees have the appropriate personal protective equipment is crucial for keeping them safe when working in close proximity to heavy equipment.
Get To Know the Machine
Give the heavy equipment operator sufficient time to explore the machine’s controls and quirks. This loss of precious time can put you behind schedule and over budget. Worse still, it can delay what your clients depend on you to deliver. Therefore, when it comes to your drivetrain and powertrain, we recommend investing the time and resources required to remanufacture them rather than spending resources and wasting time when they fail.

When To Remanufacture a Drivetrain or Powertrain

Your drivetrain will alert you to emerging problems that require prompt attention. Common signs that your drivetrain is damaged include persistent vibration and/or shuddering, irregular sounds, difficulty turning the vehicle, fluid leaks, grinding noises, difficulty putting the vehicle into gear, or diminished performance.
